Such a lovely store. We drove all the way from Vancouver to visit this store and they had such great items. The staff was so friendly and caring and actually helped us save time for ordering some furniture. If you ever do go to Chilliwack, do go here
Went to the store to look for a coffee table and side tables, the lady that helped us told us that the table was made from strong wood so we didnt have to worry about scratches.Ive purchased the table and 2 weeks later we had many dents in it already, we are very careful with it but even the slightest hit makes a dent and scratches the paint..Very disappointed because the items were not cheap at all!
From time to time you have the situation where you can be presented with lots of options, lots of variety, a range of prices but it can be decided that in thia situation, the merchant simply made us feel comfortable to do business with them. Grand Pappy's is that merchant. We saw lots of options (4 stores). We saw lots of prices but the staff just made us comfortable and took strides to allow us space to make decisions. We came here a while ago looking to furnish our new condo. Lots of unique pieces here but wasn't really our style. The staff is friendly but a little pushy like it is at most furniture stores. If you are looking for something kind of old fashion but stylish and unique, maybe give it a look.
Staff have always been very helpful and pleasant. Qualify of furniture purchased has been excellent. Have products made in Canada.
