chilliwack is a small CITY and this place is as big and an elementary school library. it's also the down town library, so it's loaded with the towns over abundent homeless population. wheres the money going guys?
I found it quite and helpful.
The library is well stocked and staff are very nice but it would be nice if children visiting it were taught not to shout and run wild. Also, having to deal with the the druggie and homeless that surround the library, hence the reason for a security guard inside, is quite intimidating for a library visit.

A little loud for a library, but overall not a bad place to look for a book. It can get quite busy at times so it can be difficult to find somewhere to sit. The seating is arranged in such a way that you have to sit with someone and it can get awkward if you want to just read a book and the person next to you wants to chat.The only complaint I have beyond the noise is the smoking area outside, theres no way around it so you have to walk through all the second hand smoke. Ew.
