The hotel is very conscious of the environment and are striving to do their part. They suggest during check in to forgo up to 3 days of house keeping. They provide you with soap, shampoo a d conditioner that have no bad chemicals and still do their individual respective jobs. The doors could use some painting or just switching them out though. The carpets in the room are very retro, so you may like it depending on your taste. The pond and waterfall behind the hotel makes for a beautiful view and great space for walking, and just a chill time. The pool also looks out to the pond, which makes it even a better view as you take breaks in between your laps. The staff is great, very helpful and we t the extra mile for me while I was staying here. I wish both elevators took you down to the pool/gym floor. Only one of them has the rear door for the 2nd floor, so no gym/pool if you get into the wrong one.
Stayed for 3 days on a fishing trip (Great River Fishing Adventures). This hotel is awesome. Very clean with great amenities. The restaurant has an amazing breakfast bowels. Live music on the lounge.
Old and outdated. Rooms were ok. Breakfast buffet was the worst I've ever had. Restaurant service was terrible. Front desk staff were great. UPDATE: So the hotel manager emails me back to offer a small gift card, with no return email or number. So I called up the hotel, got his direct email, then never heard back. Brutal!
Night staff was polite, pleasant and helpful. Morning staff could learn from them.All though they don't have any decaf beverages they did have a nice lemon water to drink.Their restaurant needs a much larger selection of foods. It is a minimalistic menu so we needed to go out to eat.Wasn't happy hunting for a restaurant in a strange town after just getting out of the car after a very long and stressful drive . The room was clean but had no books or magazines on resturants, maps, places to see.
Nice actually. Rooms are spacious. Restaurant has great dinner. Will see how the breakfasts goes in the morning
